Ford E-Transit Range
Electric power is more popular than ever on the Canton roads, and no one understands this better than Ford! You might think that electric vehicles are limited to cars and SUVs, but there’s been plenty of progress in developing fully-electric commercial vehicles as well, including buses, pickup trucks, and vans. Ford currently offers three all-electric vehicles in its lineup–the F-150 Lightning, the Mustang Mach-E, and the E-Transit. If you’re looking for a new van or fleet of vans to take your business to the next level, the E-Transit is an excellent choice! The Ford E-Transit van range tops out at 126 miles and comes in a variety of trims and configurations, so you can tailor it to match your unique business needs. Check out the guide below for more details on the Ford E-Transit charge time, charging options, and more!
Ford E-Transit Charge Time
When it comes to charging your Ford E-Transit van, you have plenty of options. Whether you want to charge at home, at your business, or on the go, you’ll be able to safely and conveniently plug in to top off the battery! Here are the three most common charging options as well as their respective charge times:
- Ford Pro Charging: If you have a fleet of Ford E-Transit vans that you keep at a centralized depot, Ford Pro will help you set up a charging system–and develop a plan so you can charge your vehicles as efficiently as possible.
- Home Charging: A licensed electrician can install a 240V Connected Charging Station that can bring your E-Transit battery from 0% to 100% in just 8 hours!
- On the Go: If you’re out and about around Van Buren Twp and need to top off your battery, you can either use the Mobile Power Cord that comes with your E-Transit, or take advantage of the BlueOval network of public fast-charging stations. The mobile cord charges your battery to 100% in about 12 hours, while a BlueOval charger generates 54 miles of range in just 10 minutes!
